As a maintenance technician at Thermoplastics Tunisia, I am responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of a production fleet consisting of 60 injection molding machines. The range of equipment I support includes Arburg machines (50T and 80T), Demag machines (100T, 80T, 50T, and 25T), Engel 75T, Battenfeld machines (500T, 40T double-shot, and 60T triple-shot models), and Ferromatik 80T and 40T double-shot presses. My work involves executing preventive maintenance schedules, rapid diagnosis and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to boost machine performance and production reliability. I work closely with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and ensure the highest operational standards are maintained. Handling a variety of machines with different technologies and configurations has strengthened my skills in thermoplastic injection processes, complex troubleshooting, and industrial automation systems.
